I am delighted to announce that I am doing a phased return to face-to-face appointments in Leicester, with the first two dates confirmed for the 10th and 24th of June 2020.

I have taken extensive advice from professional bodies, to make sure I have appropriate hygiene measures in place and have brought in PPE.  Key steps are using a mask, and careful hand hygiene. I will be taking the case history part of your appointment in advance via telephone or video chat and calling you within 24 hours of your appointment to check you and your household are well. Appointments will be spaced out to allow time to clean clinic surfaces, and for social distancing purposes.

For further details of my hygiene policy* see my Covid-19 infection limitation policy.

*updated 05 November 2020.

Osteopathic practices were never mandated to close by the government, and in fact several practices remained open to emergency or urgent cases to help reduce strain on the NHS. However, due to personal circumstances and for the safety of my patients and family, I decided to move my clinic to online telehealth consultations during lockdown, which proved surprisingly successful!

Now that NHS England has asked community healthcare providers to resume offering extended services, and the criteria of patients that I am able to see has been broadened to include all except the most vulnerable, I am delighted to be returning to the work I do best, helping you to feel great!
